Dr. Durham provides administrative and clinical leadership for the entire Neurosurgery team, including overseeing the Division's clinical care delivery and quality, strategic planning, program development and financial performance. She also supports departmental academic goals for research, education, and faculty development; supervises the Pediatric Neurosurgery fellowship program; and encourages innovation and clinical best practices that support ambulatory and surgical patient care at CHLA.
Phần mềm chống xóc đĩa trên điện thoại di độngDr. Durham, a Board-certified pediatric neurosurgeon and member of the Society of Neurological Surgeons, specializes in conditions such as spina bifida, pediatric brain tumors, hydrocephalus, tethered spinal cord and Chiari 1 malformation. She has published nearly 100 research articles, book chapters, abstracts and other scholarly publications; and has presented nationally and internationally on a myriad of neurosurgical and education-related topics. Dr. Durham's research interests include developing evidence-based guidelines in pediatric neurological surgery and she is a researcher in a multi-center clinical trial on Chiari 1 malformation with syringomyelia. She currently serves as Chair of the Education Committee of the Joint Section on Pediatrics for the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons. She also is a fellow of the American Board of Neurological Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Durham served as Chief of the Division of Neurosurgery at the University of Vermont Medical Center and Professor of Surgery at the Larner College of Medicine.
